FAQs on the products
(continuously updated)
- If
I experience problems when using the catalogue and cannot answer
the questions in the "Assistant" feature, what should I do?
You can contact our sales department, who will he happy to help
you by phone or - if necessary - on site. Our sales team is made
up of experienced specialists who can offer you the right products
for your specific needs.
- What
do the numbers 1 and 3 mean in the product designations?
These numbers indicate the voltage loads of the contacts. The types
with the number "1" in the product code are units designed for light
current applications up to max. 48 volts and are therefore not covered
by the EC low-voltage directive. Switches with the number "3" in
their product code are units that are suitable for higher loads
and are subject to the EC low-voltage directive. These units naturally
bear the CE symbol. Most type "3" units are also VDE approved. Please
see the catalogue for more detailed information.
- Why
are there units with the number "1" in the product code (voltages
up to 48 V) that still bear the CE symbol?
These
units are generally labelled in accordance with the EMC guidelines
(electromagnetic compatibility)..
