Cloth Making Day in Lambrecht on 13 September 2026
On Sunday, 13 September 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the “Clothmaking Day in Lambrecht” will take place in and around the former monastery church (Marktstr. 29) and at the former Gebrüder Haas cloth factory (Klostergartenstr. 11).
The theme is: “From the monastery church to the cloth factory – exploring flight, woolen cloth production, industrialisation and its consequences.” The event is organised by the Protestant Parish of Lambrecht-Lindenberg and the electrical engineering company Jola Spezialschalter, in cooperation with the Weber Museum in Lindenberg.
As part of the nationwide “Open Monument Day” initiative, various organisations and individuals will offer a varied programme of free activities and hands-on stations for children, young people and adults, in addition to tours of the original historic sites.
Registration is not required. Admission is free.
