In its 26/2025 edition published on Thursday, 26 June 2025, the local newspaper “Talpost” reported on the “5^th Entrepreneurs’ meeting” of Andreas Ohler, the mayor of the city of Lambrecht, on 18 June 2025, which took place at the company Hellenbrand Maschinenbau. Mostafa Saifi (head of Setaplast Kunststoff GmbH) asked what efforts were currently being made to promote the economy. After the answer was unsatisfactory for him and for Jola’s Managing Director Lars Mattil, they both emphasised that without the establishment of new businesses, there was a risk that the majority of the available financial resources would only directed towards maintenance rather than invested in future-oriented projects and thus only “manage the downfall” in the long term. Mattil recommended that the host, as well as the Mayor of the Municipality of Lambrecht Gernot Kuhn, who was also present, simply visualise the – admittedly complex – income and expenditure situation graphically in order to gain a better overview of the budgetary priorities and thus establish a better basis for the discussion of current and future measures.
