Occupational Health and Safety Policy
Jola Spezialschalter GmbH & Co. KG has established and implemented an occupational health and safety management system (OH&S management system), which is maintained and continuously improved.
Jola commits itself as well as its employees to provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
This serves to eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks.
Therefore, the legal and other requirements must be fulfilled and the OH&S management system has to be continually improved.
The employees are consulted and participate.
The OH&S policy supports our company’s strategic direction.
It is based on the topics of “prevention culture” proposed by the “KulturCheck” (culture check) of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).
On the one hand, our executives and management ensure that processes are initiated that lead to changes in cooperation with the employees. On the other hand, they challenge and encourage their employees and act as role models.
By exchanging necessary information, we ensure that work processes function well and that employees can do their jobs safely, healthily and successfully.
We react to changing conditions in order to adjust and optimize work processes accordingly. The employees are involved in these change processes. Due to their experience in day-to-day operational work, they often have valuable tips and concrete ideas on how work can be made more efficient, safer and healthier.
4. Constructive Criticism
Our culture of constructive criticism is such that errors that occur trigger a constructive learning process in the company. These can be both problems in daily work and deviations from specified standards that can lead to accidents or illnesses.
5. Working Atmosphere
Mutual support and appreciative and collegial interaction across all hierarchical levels creates a good working atmosphere. Trust and equal treatment or targeted unequal treatment play a central role here.
6. Work Safety and Health
Safety and health are anchored in corporate strategy and are reflected in corporate structures and processes in the form of binding guidelines
