In its 17/2026 edition published on Thursday, 23 April 2026, the local newspaper Talpost reported on the guided walking-tour “Cloth making – Industrial culture in the Lambrecht Valley” which will take place on 13 May 2026. Conceived and moderated by Gerald Lehmann (Weaver Museum, Lindenberg), one of the stops will be the former Haas Brothers cloth factory, whose premises have been home to the electrotechnical company Jola Spezialschalter since the 1950s. Managing Director Lars Mattil – grandson of the last head of the cloth factory – will welcome the hikers and tell them a thing or two about the history.
